This course will examine how teachers build clear understanding of their own professional identity. It will include an exploration of the spiritual and moral development of teachers. This course will examine and evaluate societal assumptions, values and beliefs about models of curriculum design. It will examine the conceptual content of the cross-cutting themes of numeracy, literacy and health and wellbeing and the professional roles and responsibilities of the teacher in implementing said themes.
